As the Club moves to restart its activities, many of the operational changes that accompanied COVID-19, are being evaluated for longer-term value.
One of the more visible changes was the introduction of course marshals, to assist with overseeing social distancing & regulating on-course compliance. The volunteer marshalling team, led by Helen Blanchfield, has done an excellent job in safeguarding both the Club & the membership throughout this challenging period. Furthermore, the impact their presence has had on pace of play has seen significant & average round times reduced dramatically.
Without the generous support of these volunteers, the costs associated with delivering marshalling would have likely seen it unviable or dramatically scaled back.
To better understand member views on course marshalling and the potential for more member volunteers, we are seeking feedback via a short survey. The survey will take no more than 2 minutes to complete, with responses required by 5:00 pm Friday 3rd July 2020.
