Sunday the 5th of July saw the final matches of the Gents A,B & C Grade Matchplay Championships being contested.
The A Grade Final saw current Club Champion Jordan Rooke taking on Scott Draper, in a high quality match Scott was able to game some revenge by edging out Jordan 3 & 2.
B Grade had the number 2 seed in Andrew Wren taking on 8 seed David Byrnes, in another tight tussel with Andrew coming through 2 & 1.
C Grade was the closest match of all with up and coming junior Ben Dowling facing off against Tony Bull, teeing off the 18th Ben held a 1up advantage but was unable to convert his lead to victory. It would take until the 20th hole with Ben holing a nice 5 foot putt to take the win.
