As the QLD Government continues to ease restrictions, the Club will be reverting back to its ‘pre-covid’ time sheet release schedule. From a member booking perspective, this means that competition sheets will be opening at 4PM 8 days prior to play.
In order to achieve this, the Club essentially has to ‘bite the bullet’ and release multiple sheets in order to realign with the 8 day prior schedule. From Sunday, June 21st, the ‘8 days prior’ time sheet release schedule will be in effect. A model of the weekly time sheet release schedule is detailed below.
Sunday (4pm) – Time sheet for Monday will be released
Monday (4pm) – Time sheet for Tuesday will be released
Tuesday (4pm) – Time sheet for Wednesday will be released
Wednesday (4pm) – Time sheet for Thursday will be released
Friday (4pm) – Time sheets for SATURDAY & SUNDAY will be released.
*Further communication regarding the separation of the weekend time sheets will be released once known.
Regarding social booking sheets, these have now been released up until July 10th. Moving forward these will continue to be released well in advance as per ‘pre covid’.
Members are reminded that all social bookings must be booked prior to arrival at the Club. This is in line with the Club’s obligation to maintain its Covid registry as dictated by the QLD Government.

The New Booking System
Members can now ‘Join the Draw’ (to make a booking) no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the timesheet opening, this being 3:30pm for Competition Play and 5:30pm for Social Play. Members will be allocated a virtual ticket and when the countdown timer reaches zero at 4:00pm and 6:00pm you will be allocated a random position. It does not matter if you join the draw at 3:31pm or 3:59pm, your name will be added, and will become part of this random draw process.
Below screenshots are version of the new screens & the process to be followed.
The ‘queuing system’ will send the first 10 members into the timesheet to make a booking. All others will get a ticket in the queue to enter the timesheet when those ahead have completed their booking. This may add 15 to 20 seconds to the booking experience for those not in the first 10.
The benefits of the ‘Queuing system’ are:
- No more fastest click wins
- Your device or internet speed will not affect your entry in the draw
- Random (and equitable) draw for all
- There’s less chance you will be rejected with ‘Row Taken.

A summary of the new times and process:
- From 3:30pm members can join the draw for Competition Timesheets.
- At 4:00pm members in the draw will be allocated their virtual ticket number.
This process will continue on a trial basis, however feedback from other Clubs we have contacted has been positive. This process will be reviewed again when timesheets revert to groups of 3 or 4.
Please note that bookings will be limited to yourself and your preferred playing partner.
