Next Wednesday, 21st of August is Round 1 of this year’s Midweek Championships, as in previous years, this event is held over 1 course resulting in there being an 2 Tee AM Start (6:08am – 7:52am) and a 2 Tee PM Start (10:32am – 12:24pm). This timesheet model will be in place for both the 21st & 28th of August.

Sunday the 11th of August was the date for this years Ladies Foursomes Championship. Twelve pairs took on the challenge over all 27 holes at Keperra. With her partner from last year unavailable, Mikayla Dyal required a new partner to defend her title from 2023. Ladies Club Champion Julie Lakotij proved to be a very successful addition with Mikayla and Julie taking out the event with a score of 127gross to secure a 4 shot margin over Bonita Tyler and Caitlin Vanderkruk.
In the Nett event Ally Maguire and Karen Pisarek were victorious with a nett score of 103 leading to a 4.5 shot victory over, Melissa Robertson and Cassie Tyler.

After a narrow loss away at Indooroopilly G.C. last weekend the gents combined Open, Masters and Junior teams have two must win games at home on consecutive Sundays.

Both fixtures tee off from 7am, with members encouraged to view some great talent, both young and old!

Correction from August Snapshot: The Club is now in the process of sending Members their Annual subscriptions.
If you have not received your Membership Subscription by Thursday August 10th – please contact the Club via email at admin@keperragolf.com.au. A reminder will be sent a fortnight before the end of August, and any members un-financial as at September 1st will have their booking rights suspended until payment is made. If you do not intend to renew, the Club would please ask that a courtesy email be sent to admin@keperragolf.com.au as there is a seeded allocation/wait list for all Provisional Members coming into the Club based on resignations.
Pay As You Golf has generously put forward a $150 house credit as a prize for any member, of any category, who pays their Membership fees before the due date (COB 31st of August). The financial member will be selected at random and notified on September 1st.

Congratulations to Club Champion Wes Hinton (below right) who overnight was selected along with Kayun Mudadana for the 2024 Cameron Smith Scholarship. The pair will spend time with Smith at home in Jacksonville, Florida before travelling with him to attend the LIV Golf individual championship in Chicago this September.
