The Club is becoming increasingly concerned with the pace of play, specifically on Wednesdays. As such the Club will be utilising a pace of play software which will highlight those groups out of position.
Members are reminded that the pace of play is the responsibility of every individual player. Your position in the field is directly behind the group in front – irrespective of the number of players in the group in front.

Today we had the final for this years Nell Harvey Memorial Foursomes. Contesting the final was the number 1 seeds of Ruth Turnbull & Zena Bell and the 6th seeds of Bev Beveridge & Pam Murray. The match was certainly a tight tussle with Ruth & Zena taking a 1up lead heading up the 18th. With both teams lying 4 on the 18th green, it would come down to putting, Bev and Pam faced a fast downhill putt and ran it past allowing Zena and Ruth to lag their ball up close and secure a 2up victory.
Congratulations to Ruth and Zena becoming our Nell Harvey Foursomes Champions for 2024.

Congratulations to KCGC’s Life Member Peter Senior on his King’s Birthday Honour List inclusion awarded this morning by Governor General David Hurley. Peter started playing his junior golf at Keperra back in the 70’s along side his Brother Jeff, Len and Brad, with Brad still a long-term valued staff member on the Course / Maintenance Team.
A true international Golfer, Peter won 35 times as a professional, including 21 victories on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia, as well as wins on the DP World Tour and Japan Golf Tour. A three time winner of the Australian PGA Championship, and twice the ISPS HANDA Australian Open, Senior’s first and last PGA Tour of Australasia wins remarkably came 36 years apart, with the 64-year-old winning on Tour in five different decades.
On behalf of the Club along with it’s Members, we wish to congratulate Peter on being awarded such a high honour.

Chris will once again be running a 1 day, School Holiday Clinic on Tuesday the 25th of June.
There will be a 2-hour session for our Rookies & Stars from 8am – 10am (cost will be $49p/p), and there will be a 4-hour session for our Master, Grand Master & Champion students from 12pm – 4pm (cost will be $90p/p).
